SUNDAY IN MADISON Wisconsin

One of my favorite signs that has been on the road. Jonathan really loves
this tractor idea as well...drafting!

In the Gardens of Crossroads Church. A bike of all things.

Oh what a glorious day...a glorious day.

It started with no breakfast for me, i slept right through it until 9 10 am....due to the fact of red bull...i had some redbull yesterday after 10pm...and well that most definitely had my eyes open in my tent til 3:30 in the morning, i was staring at the lovely seems, the screen door, and telling my body to sleep, red bull doesn't give me wings-it keeps my eyes open and my brain a-ticking.

Me, if you forgot what i look like or needed a reminder :)
So, church started at 9:30, I managed to make it...don't worry, it was 50 feet away since we camped on the churches property. Lovely service, and I helped with the offering, quite funny, we used helmets to take the offering (lined with tinfoil- quite ingenious).

Afterwards there was a time for socializing and lunch, which went well. WE also had a list of excursions and things to do....i had originally chosen to get a tour of downtown but needed to purchase a tire more importantly, so the tire won the deal.

This church also had an amazing youth room, where we watch movies, played pool and other sorts of things. Very open and accepting towards 150+ people traipsing in and out their doors.

VERY EXTRAORDINARY :
in the morning i was brushing my teeth, (yes i brush my teeth) and noticed a womans stone on her necklace...she was wiping the counter, i was brushing my teeth, so i couldn't rightly mention that her pendant was beautiful....it just so happened that after lunch i ran into her on my way to the vehicle that was driving a few of us to the bike shop...(too far to bike)... when i mentioned it to her, she immediately removed it from her neck and gave it to me.... a RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS... i have her card, but not on me, so in my next blog, i will mention her, and her business....turns out she makes jewellry, and this stone was from hawaii...i had met her son the other day, since he had brought loads of us to the laundromat...and back...lovely shuttle service...
Thanks so much, i really love the stone, and still am in disbelief that she just took it off her neck and gave it to me...lovely, absolutely lovely

In the evening, i viewed a movie, well just half, i fell asleep during the movie, and woke up sometime later to retire to my tent.

What a beautiful sunday!
