Today we biked...

We biked up hills and down,
Through towns and into the big apple.

So many cyclists were on the road going the other way today - must be "get out of New York" day and see the countryside

Talked with many who were curious and handed out the last of the cards we had on us.

Ryan is pictured above ... He took may a pictures in many a places with his bike over his head, here we are just before heading out this morning.

Going to go over George Washington bridge!! Quite the experience! It was shaky / wobbly if you stopped and stood!
It's a double layer multi-lane bridge and wire high up I might add!! Quite high!

I liked this sign :)

Biking trough the city and on the bike path, past Central Park and ground zero.
Quite spectacular and amazing riding through .

Took the Staten Island passenger ferry over ... And got a view of lady liberty :)

We were police escorted from the ferry to project hospitality's grounds, where we were corralled and told more instructions on how to follow to the tire dipping ceremony.

If your are interested check out " project hospitality" and all the amazing work they do! It is quite impressive and an awesome organization!

Here we go... Dip a tire !!

Shiprock to Staten Island, one day at a time......
Through heat, rain, hail, thunder, lightening, wind, warmth, cold, tired, grumpy, sleep deprived, potholes, traintracks, mosquitoes, snoring, clanking of ten poles, other people's alarms, 3 flat tires, 1 tip off my bike, and just keep pedalling running through my head " because you can" and now I'm on my way home revelling in how fast it went by and how fast cars go!

Take care all and many thanks for your prayers and support! We touched many people with what we did and will continue touching people's lives with money being allocated for certain endeavours! Thanks and God bless!

Week 9- day 4....

Many cornfields were passed, but this one is significant, cause this is where the series of unfortunate events happened.

Shannon's chain fell off... We stopped , Jessica tipped and fell... Ramming her bike into mine which caused my bike to tip and fall between my legs causing a mega bruise :) followed by main chain falling off and then a flat by Jessica - all within a half a kilometre!!
