JONATHAN ELZINGA day --- ZINGER
We left this morning at 7am, and arrived at the next destination before 2.
BIKE TIME : 5 hours and a few minutes
AVERAGE SPEED 30km/hr....absolutely amazing day!
we even managed to do 10 k in 16 minutes (thanks to a tail wind near the end)

Jon and I left camp and went out to be met by rolling hills, rolling hills, and more rolling hills. I play the game, bomb down the hill to get nearly up the next one.... it worked for the most part and Jon and I were pretty matched. We had great conversations and were good company for one another. It made the 155 km go quicker then we thought possible. WE came upon a cafe, about 30 k out of our destination, and had something to eat there with Jeff, and Mark. While in the cafe, we managed to talk to all the patrons, the servers, and then at the very end the owner, who said if we hadn't paid he would for us...(we already had)... we handed out cards to all of them, and ran out, and one cute old lady donated to us 20 bucks for the sea to sea fund.

If you can see the speck behind this truck, that is Zinger, trying to draft, well actually drafting, i didn't have the get go to get behind the truck...so i had to catch up with him on my own power not that of truck drafting....

When we got to camp, we headed to the local pool which allowed us to come and swim and shower there. It was amazing to just have an afternoon of sorts to relax and just enjoy some of the day. Returning back to the campsite, meant returning to the life of seatosea....tents and organizing bike gear for the next day.

This is me and Zinger, at the end of the day... thanks for the great ride!!
