TIME keeps ticking

So i have been on a couple of bike rides since sea to sea, and still thoroughly enjoy riding my bike. I am thankful to all those who faithfully read my blog, and to those who supported the cause. I look forward to doing another ride one day, maybe of this size or smaller. It was a great time, one of great comraderie and fun. Each day held new experiences and places to be, as well as more people to spread the cause too.

Since the tour, I have returned back to teaching, and feel like I didn't even leave. So funny how a shoe fits. I love teaching, and my class is quite energetic and lively this year. They keep me on my toes, and I keep them thinking (and entertained sometimes). Life is very busy teaching, extracurricular activites, weekend excursions and maintaining family and friends relationships.

This is a picture I took a couple of weeks ago from the bike path along the parkway in Ottawa, this weekend I went 'bycling' with Lawrence and Kaitlin. We did an interesting loop, starting at Algonquin, going by Carleton U then Ottawa U, then past the museum of civilization and then the war museum.....We were just so glad to be together... Kaitlin and I were wondering if we still remembered how to bike, and were afraid of falling since we have only bike a handful of times since the tour. For the most part we were on paths and trails through the city, its like a whole nother world! Dog walkers, grocery getters...city dwellers mixed with students and those with an agenda not paying any attention to the left or right of them...joggers, people with strollers and random people who just barely got skimmed by our tires.

Our school also had the opportunity of being at the Ottawa Airport for when Harper's jet landed. They were there to cheer him on and shake his hands. IT was a very fun exbition for those who went.

Moss may not grow on a rolling stone, but it does on stumps. I took this photo this weekend, along the Indian River this weekend, just thought it was a neat look at the little things in life that thrive off of dead debris. The recycling of the forest.

FALL

WEEKENDs continue to be crazy busy. What with driving all over Ontario, and finishing up some of my fundraisers family photos.

This past weekend I had some time to relax with family and friends, attend a wedding and also see Cirque du Soleil (an absolutely amazing show, I recommend to others to go see if they can).



Here are some pics of the weekend. IT was absolutely gorgeous out, especially with all the fall colours displayed in the trees and the warm weather we are experiencing for fall.
